Beatriz Manteigas, Lisboa, 1990.
In 2022 she completes her PhD in Drawing at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, while on a scholarship from FCT - Foundation for Science and Technology. At the same faculty she obtained a Master's degree in Artistic Anatomy (2014) and a degree in Painting (2012) - a cycle of studies that she completed with exchanges at the University of Porto, Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) and Royal Academy of St. Petersburg (Russia). During brief periods she also lived and worked in London (2019) and Dusseldorf (2012). In 2016 she co-founded the Quinta das Relvas Association, based in an ecological farm in which she lives and works, and of which she is currently president of the board and coordinator of the Arts Department. In the same year she became a collaborating researcher at CIEBA - Center for Research and Studies in Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon.
